Oakland Care, led by CEO Joanne Balmer, is a highly regarded elderly care home group with a strong pipeline of development sites.
Oakland provides residential, dementia and nursing care and currently operates four care homes in Essex and Sussex with a combined capacity of 250 beds. Each home offers superior amenities, ample and varied day space, attractive landscaping and generous room sizes, with a focus on providing excellent care in a friendly and welcoming environment.
Two further homes, situated in Oxfordshire and North London, are currently under construction.

The premium elderly care market is large, stable and growing with demand for new homes underpinned by positive demographic drivers and a shortfall modern, high quality facilities across the sector. Oakland’s management team has a 20-year track record in developing and operating market-leading care homes and have a strong existing pipeline of sites for future development.

Synova’s will provide capital and strategic advice to assist management with developing a leading portfolio of private pay purpose-built, premium quality care homes.
